I like simple things
like vanilla ice cream cones
homemade onion rings
balloons
filled with water
making lots of laughs
sitting on the porch
listening to birds sing
I like watching you
while you're looking
for something to wear
or the way
when you enter a room
you give me a loving stare
I like simple kisses
that always lead to more
I like when you come home
hearing your keys
in the door
I like the way you say
my day went this way
and I secretly be wishing
that tomorrow
be a better day
I like sleeping close up under you
laughing at your snore
watching your favorite TV show
even when it's a bore
I just like being near you
putting your feet up
in my lap
I like walking in front of you
knowing
I'm gonna get a love tap
I like dreaming
of all my tomorrows
doing all the things
we like to do
I like thinking of tomorrow
Because
I already know....
they will be with you
