Sheltered Walk......A WordFix@56 Write #14

Pages of time tossed to and frolike too big shoesSinking slowly into the gray of nightsearching for some good news at the end of the dayFinding dawn walking out of muted whispers in the dark of lonelinessThe founder of the wind....God of peaceshelter me
from the places I been

ReplyDeleteSorry, but I had to chuckle when I read "Found of the wind" while looking at old tennis shoes hanging in a tree. As long as the wind is blowing away from you, that would be OK!!!
ReplyDeleteWith that said, the lyrical feel to this poem is very beautiful.
ReplyDeleteJust wondering where you see 'found of the wind'...I see founder of the wind, and that is God...but nevertheless I thank you for taking the time to feel the write...
