breathing in...out
memories,
thoughts
of black and white...
au courant emotions,
splashed on old sapless wood
kindling it's thirst,
like paint,
carrying the capacity
to modify
for better
or worse
Everything we do
......
whether we bring life back to it
or let it die
....
tells us
what's seen
through the third eye
beholds
life's real beauty

It's very nice within a flow of sorts.
I would agree....depends on who is speaking and whether the words taste sweet on their tongue...
ReplyDeleteNice...yeah I was feeling every word...:)
These words are what classic poetry is made of. I sit in envy and adoration of your command of the English language, of all that you can do with so few words. Bravo, Joyce Ann... Bravo.
ReplyDeletethank you so much Heidi.....but you're no slouch yourself....I'd like to see you try one of these...
ReplyDeleteWhat challenges are they? I am willing to take a look at anything right now. I feel like a barren tree, devoid of any fruit... no leaves... just a skeleton. I don't know what's wrong with me that I cannot write right now. I find myself in awe of you because I don't think you've EVER had writer's block... have you???
ReplyDeletesomeone once said (I think it was Emerson) that its not the length of ones life that is important,it's the depth......You consistently prove his point....

ReplyDeletethat is the link to open challenges for everyone/anyone...just follow the directions
try one...:)
Hugging you, Tom, because we just started on a good connection and you are a constant in that pursuit....you move me with your words...and your own depth. I be reading you..and feeling you, and seeing you as you truly are...and me likes you...lol alot
ReplyDeletethank you..for being you..and for getting me....:)
Writers block..sure. but it doesn't last long, because I step out from where I am, and try to see out what God sees when he looks down on us...and the emotions explode inside of me, with just a simple picture releasing words galore...as we talked about...26 letters creating unlimited feelings, phrases, and observances.....:)
ReplyDeleteI just kick the block from under me feet and keep on keeping on...lol
