ReplyDeleteI am a child at heart (have seen adults - want no part of being grown up, especially the evil and self centered one - ugh) - probably why children are always so attracted to me and people are shocked when I can play with or hold them and with others they scream but with me they are happy or content. I remember one time I held a crying child in church and the little guy fell asleep on my shoulder - drool and all (smile)...later

ReplyDeleteHonestly I used to be - was very open and trusting - have since learned to trust but verify. Managed to keep myself from becoming a pessimist as a result.
