By Faith Not By Sight

Author: Stephanie Storey Morant

In waking I give thanks
In what’s not known
I have to trust, My Father
That yesterday’s pain is gone
For you’ve given me this day
For me to rejoice
To faithfully follow
To willingly hear your voice
For trials will come sometimes
And burdens I’ll have to bare
But you promised me father
To always be there
So I’m standing on that promise
No matter what I go through
And just in case I stumble
I’m depending on you
For you hold the master plan
And your path is always right
So today I’m embarking
By faith and not by sight

Anyway

Author: Mother Teresa

People are often unreasonable and self-centered.
Forgive them anyway.

If you are kind, people may accuse you of ulterior motives.
Be kind anyway.

If you are honest, people may cheat you.
Be honest anyway.

If you find happiness, people may be jealous.
Be happy anyway.

The good you do today may be forgotten tomorrow.
Do good anyway.

Give the world the best you have, and it may never be enough.
Give your best anyway.

For you see, in the end it is between you and God.
It never was between you and them anyway.

Mother Teresa

'I believe that any man's life will be filled with constant and unexpected encouragement, if he makes up his mind to do his level best each day, and as nearly as possible reaching the high water mark of pure and useful living. '

'There are high spots in all of our lives and most of them have come about through encouragement from someone else. I don't care how great, how famous or successful a man or woman may be, each hungers for applause. '

'There is nothing better than the encouragement of a good friend.'

  1. Encouragement is needed. Here's what I will pass on:

"The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. A righteous (wo)man may have many troubles, but the LORD delivers (her)/him from them all..." (Psalms 34:18-19) NIV

  14. I know I'm a day late and a dollar short.. lol.. but did you realize yesterday when I was telling you about what was preached, that you used the scripture in your Sunday morning message? .... God is so good...

whether I stumble or almost fall... I'll keep running anyway

when I'm doing all I know how to do, and others criticize, I'll keep doing God's will anyway

whether I'm fearful of speaking what He tells me to speak.. I'll speak anyway...

obedience is much better than sacrifice...
