Start Today One of the hardest things in life is feeling stuck in a situation that we don’t like and want to change.
We may have exhausted ourselves trying to figure out how to make change, and we may even have given up. However, each day offers us an opportunity to renew our resolve and to declare to the universe that we are ready for change. We may even say out loud that we have tried and struggled and have not found a way, but that we are open to help, and that we intend to keep working to create change for ourselves.
Making this declaration to the universe, and to ourselves, may be just the remedy for the stagnation we are experiencing. And, it can be done today, right now.
It is difficult to understand, even with hindsight, how the choices we have made have added up to our current situation, but it is a good idea to examine the story we tell ourselves.
If we tend to regard ourselves as having failed, this will block our ability to allow ourselves to succeed.
We have the power to change the story we tell ourselves by acknowledging that in the past, we did our best, and we exhibited many positive qualities, and had many fine moments on our path to the present moment.
We can also recognize that we have learned from our experiences, and that this will help us with our current choices.
When we do this kind of work on how we view our past self, we make it possible for the future to be based on a positive self-assessment.
This inner shift may allow us to get out of the cycle we’ve been in that’s been keeping us stuck. Now we can declare our intentions to the universe, knowing that we have done the inner work necessary to allow our lives to change. Allow today to be the day to end cycles and enter into a new way of being.

ReplyDeleteJoyce this is where I am now. Still trying to pull myself up by my own bootstraps, while at the same time listening to pessimistic thoughts. For me it has been an internal struggle. but I know that I will find my way. I will become unstuck to live the life I've dreamed of.
ReplyDeleteI think you've just spoken to my current situation. Time to stop going through the same situation over and over. The same endless cycle of nonsense and pain. Time to move on. I speak to my universe today, and to anyone who is willing to read this, from this moment forward, things will and must change. I've made some good decisions in my past, and I've learned from the bad ones. I may be young, but my spirit is old. A wonderful balance if I do say so myself. Things can only get better from here on out. Why? Because I declare it to be so...

I am experiencing this right now. There are certain decisions that i must make about where to live..i refuse to stay stuck in a sitation even though i am surrounded by lots of things. Today I am in California still, content with the necessities and at peace. and praying. I will be alright. it has been 2 weeks and it will be okay. i have what i need and can breathe. living in one room, a large room with a beautiful view out the window.. * Peace be still* thank you for this wonderful message..
ReplyDeleteI think you are right J. Whenever I feel stuck or blocked, I get moving. I move stuff around in my house because I realize LIFE is about energy, changing and growing. Just yesterday, I replaced a couple of plants I had on the patio that dried up from the heat. I transferred some new plants I bought. I cannot have dried, tired or dead things around me.

ReplyDeleteI think you are right Joyce. Whenever I feel stuck or blocked, I move something, myself or furniture in my place. Life is about energy-movement, growth, creativity. Recently, I replaced some dried plants outside with live potted plants and I changed the color scheme in my bedroom to a Caribbean theme with lots of aqua blue and I feel better. Take care...peace

lol...ok Joyce. Well that is where I am this week even after I got side swipped with a layoff Monday. You call me 'laid back' I was probably so laid back I was scary to my coworkers Monday. What happens around me and to me, I trust that I will be alright. I know that I am beloved and well protected and that Yahweh is my guide and my provider. I've been through this before and so I will go through again even better this time. I still believe this yr is the start of something else great for me...peace

ReplyDeleteMMMMPHHH - How appropriate is this message for my life today? I decided to let go and move forward with my life recently. I was caught up in a cycle filled with misgivings, distrust and hopelessness. It was tearing my soul and affecting my body. Once I made the decision to let go -- I was able to see my path more clearly. The most beautiful thing happened on my way home from a Literacy fundraiser -- We were at a stop sign and the young lady in the car next to us turned and said "My father in heaven told me to tell you everything is going to be alright and your blessing are on the way" -- NOW HOW AWESOME AND INSPIRATIONAL IS THAT. Sometimes, he picks his angels on earth to send us the message we need to hear. HE IS REAL!!!!
