MOTHER

1. Honor your mother Ephesians 6: 1-4, 6-8
Children obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right. Honor thy
father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise; That it
may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the Earth. And, ye
fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the
nurture and admonition of the Lord.
Not with eyeservice, as
menpleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from
the heart; with good will doing service, as to the Lord, and not to
men: Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall
he receive of the Lord, whether he be bond or free.
2. Do not despise mother's experience Proverbs 23:22
Hearken unto thy father that begat thee, and despise not thy mother
when she is old. Buy the truth, and sell it not; also wisdom, and
instruction, and understanding.
3. Do not neglect mother's teaching Proverbs 1:8 My son, hear the instruction of thy father, and forsake not the law of thy mother:
4. Foolish child brings grief to mother Proverbs 10:1 The Proverbs of Solomon. A wise son maketh a glad father, but a foolish son is the heaviness of his mother.
5. Do not curse or strike mother Exodus 21: 15, 17
And he that smiteth his father, or his mother, shall be surely put to
death. And he that curseth his father, or his mother, shall surely be
put to death
6. Love Jesus more than mother Matthew 10:37
He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; and
he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.

MOTHER

How much I love you I can't say:
It's more than words can hold.
You're all at once my rich, red clay,
My potter and my mold.

Yours the words that shaped my voice,
The spirit within mine.
Yours the will that shaped my choice,
My fortune, and my sign.

How lucky I was to have had you
At the core of me!
Wise and good, you always knew
Just what I could be.

And so I came to be someone
Whom I could be proud of.
For this I give my swollen sum
Of gratitude and love.
