Familiar Shadows

Again you come
Even though I'm not looking for anything
as I neared the existence called you
cautiously I invaded the space of you
No one had to drag me
or make me look your way
the ambiance of you I watched...mesmerized
as your countenance glowed
my own shadow side-barring with me
catching your glance...of me
confirmed with me
as your eyes said it all

You said...I feel your warm touch
with an affirmative nod you invited me in
You said there is more to you than meets the eye
You stepped into my zone and changed it
Our auras bumped into each other
like the sounds of 'hooting' owls watching the night come and go
Nothing about you was unfamiliar

the air ...serendipitous
 
Is the reason you showed up
that I was desiring your touch?
Did I want to know you?
Were your moves just as calculating
as I thought mine were?
Could I possibly read your mind and you not know?
Did I see myself just touching you
or.....
being synchronized with you....one more time?

I listened, excited as a kid
as my heart
as my ego
as my shadow gave me question
after question
instruction after instruction
on how to conquer you
